    This is a good quality thread. I use it and it doesn't break easily like the cheaper threads do. In fact, I can't remember it breaking at all when I was sewing.
    Polyester is a synthetic blend which is stronger and stretches more than cotton thread with little or no lint.
    A great all purpose thread.
