The engine conversion was performed by the venerable Torfab in Everett, WA. Over k was spent on the conversion, and various aftermarket upgrades and maintenance items.The engine starts instantly with a flick of the key and runs very well. There is ample power on tap for this nimble little FJ40 and whatever gear you choose to haul along on your adventure.I have a full list of all of the upgrades as well as detailed receipts.Naturally, all things are not perfect, the paint isn't great, but the body is very straight. There are some signs of minor rust, but anything major has been addressed. The frame has minor surface rust only. No major rust at all. The gauge cluster also needs attention as not all function properly.
