    The hood to cowl seal is by the back of the firewall, it seals the back side of the hood to the firewall. It is used to keep water and debris out of the engine compartment as well as restoring proper airflow to keep the engine cooler.
    This style cowl seal is for the trucks that do
    n't have a clearance notch on the cowl seal.
