    Description

Up for auction is one pair of 2021 Denver uncirculated Washington Crossing the Delaware and
Tuskegee Airmen Alabama Quarters from bank rolls. These are the only 2 quarter designs to be issued in 2021. These coins will be shipped via USPS First Class Lettered Mail.
THIS AUCTION IS FOR 1 SET OF UNCIRCULATED 2021 WASHINGTON CROSSING THE DELAWARE AND TUSKEGEE AIRMEN ALABAMA QUARTERS
    FROM THE DENVER MINT.
    ABOUT
    :
    WASHINGTON CROSSING THE DELAWARE
The reverse (tails) depicts General George Washington commanding his troops through the overnight crossing of the ice-choked Delaware River prior to the Battle of Trenton during the American Revolutionary War. The obverse (heads) features the familiar image of George Washington by John Flanagan, used on the quarter since 1932. Unlike the  American the Beautiful Series the date returns to the
obverse or face of the coin.
    ALABAMA TUSKEGEE AIRMEN
The reverse (tails) depicts a Tuskegee Pilot and two WW2 jets and "They fought Two Wars".
This coin is the last of the 56 coins issued under the America The Beautiful Series.
In 2010, the United States Mint began issuing 56 quarter-dollar coins featuring designs depicting national parks and other national sites as part of the United States Mint America the Beautiful Quarters Program.
This new 2021 Washington design is for 1 year only to be followed by the 2022 - 2025  honor women who shaped American History Quarters.
