Up for sale is a hard to find antique original Cast Iron Forward Facing Boston Terrier Dog Doorstop.

He was made by the I.C.C. CO. foundry. From what I know about the forward facing I.C.C. doorstops, this was made around the 1890-1900 period.
He still retains most of his original paint and has the makers mark stamped on the bottom side. He has a ring on his "Spiked" collar, which you won't see on other cast iron dogs. The ring is there because it was originally sold with a small leather leash which is unfortunately not included with this listing. You'll also notice that the slotted screw heads are much larger in diameter than the Hubley, National Foundry or Albany Foundry dogs.
You typically see right facing Boston Bull Terriers, and very few left facing ones. But, rarely will you see a forward facing Boston Bull Terrier doorstop.
