    Presented by the Trenton Evening Times as a message of greeting and good wishes to the men of the National Army
    This listing is an original World War I paper item related to Camp Dix (Fort Dix, New Jersey). It measures 11.5" by 17.5" with song words on both sides as shown. It is not dated, however, estimated circa is 1917. Condition as shown in the photos, including folds, creases, snips and clips on edges, tiny pinholes in places along seams, soiling marks, discoloration paper as expected of an item about 100 years old. Being sold "as is" as was found.
    Trenton Evening Times is/was a local newspaper in NJ.
    Camp Dix (Fort Dix)  - Construction began in June 1917.
    Camp Dix
    , as it was known at the time, was a training and staging ground for units during World War I. Through the camp was an embarkation camp for the New York Port of Embarkation it did not fall under the direct control of that command with the War Department retaining direct jurisdiction. The camp became a demobilization center after the war.
