A superb and rare photo of
the Honda 750 riden by Alain Genoud in 1973 at the Circuit of Montjuic in Barcelona Spain during the 24 Hours of Montuich or 24 Horas de Montjuic that was riden on the 8th of July in 1973. You can see the Honda being piloted by Alain Genoud from Switzerland (17) competing against the French man Jean Claude Chemarin on a Honda 850.
The Honda 750 would finish in 3rd place with riders Genoud and his French partner Godier behind the eventual winners of the race Canellas and Grau. The Honda 850 of Chemarin and his English partner Gerard Debrock would finish the race in 6th place.

. The roads in the slopes facing the city formed once the famous Montjuic circuit, where for decades motorcycle and car races were being organized. For decades the 24 Hours of
Barcelona
races were ridden at Montjuic, and also the Spanish Grand Prix races. On four occasions Formula One car races were organized on the Montjuic circuit.
After 1986 the circuit was not used anymore for the 24 hours races.
