Nickel Plating Solution 4 oz Industrial Quality Restoration READ

Description

This is 4 ounces of industrial Nickel plating solution.
It will give a chrome like finish if properly shined.
I use copper plating solution under the nickel for
better adhesion and longer lasting harder finish,
but you can just use nickel alone for pretty decent results.
There is no end to the auto parts you can plate.
Batteries and wire leads are not included
and are intended for demonstration.
Make a simple power supply with 2 D Cell batteries
and two wires taped in configuration shown.
3 to 5 VDC give the best results.
You can also make a power supply from an old cell phone charger.
The better you Clean or Prepare your part,
the better your plating results.
Wire Brush, Scotch Brite, Grinder Wheel Brush,
all good metal cleaning devices.
Pour small amount into container,
Put negative wire on part to be plated,
and positive on cotton brush lead.
You can cut and roll up a piece of cloth for your brush.
Dip brush in solution and make circular motions
on desired plating surface.
Many coats, Even coverage, Take your time.
Re applying solution as needed.
Move your alligator clips to make even coats.
Plated surface will seem dull until cleaned or buffed.
I use a Chrome polish and drill buffer.
Very simple, inexpensive way for a Chrome simulated plate.
Solution will plate a lot of parts.
Your success will depend mainly on your cleaning
preparation.
