MADE IN THE USA!!
Bonded (polyester) thread has set the industry standard in sailmaking and canvas sewing threads. This sailmaking and canvas thread has the following characteristics; high strength & controlled stretch, stability in sunlight and resistance to needle heat, abrasion, salt-water and mildew. Our polyester thread will very seldom fray at the needle eye, and its bonded finish is so consistent that sewing machine tension does not have to be continually adjusted.
Size 92 (Tex90) Polyester thread is a middleweight sewing thread. Polyester thread is amazingly strong and abrasive resistant, you will see this thread is used when strength is a must. Polyester thread also responds well to the outdoors. Typical uses include, but are not limited to, sewing tents, furniture upholstery, auto upholstery, dog beds/collars, sails, sandbags, leather, awnings, flags and many more. Commercial size 92 is also referred to as T 90. This thread can be used on both home and commercial sewing machines.
The recommended needle size for sewing with this thread is a size 18 or 20 needle.
