The total weight of this thread and cone is 1 pound and 12-1/2 ounces. A lot of thread.
I don’t know much about this thread except it is new old stock and still has it’s original  plastic cover than is tore a bit. I looked up a similar looking thread online and that manufacture said their thread for 1 pound would be about 14,000 feet. This thread probably weighs about 1-1/2 pounds not counting the spool.
It has a gold tint to it.
