Very neat old Gerber, and I think a fairly early version of this one. No "S" on the handle markings, so I'm guessing the blade is tool steel, handle is cast aluminum with grey coating - not rough like cat's tongue, but some grip to surface. It has been carried, used and sharpened, some scratches on blade (took last couple of pictures in shade to try and show them), has decent edge on it now. No sheath. P

Measures 7" long, 3-1/8" from tip to bolster/guard.
