    Description

    Extremely scarce French M1921/35 Paletot for Colonial Infantry. Condition is as it appears, no major integral issues but has some repairs (a simple tear near the hip and an armpit that opened up). It was extremely filthy when I acquired it and was carefully hand laundered. The original collar patches are included, they were barely tacked on with thread but original to the garment, they were removed for laundering. I believe this was worn by a French POW held in a German camp, that was captured in the Battle of France from experience handling many period uniforms.  Collar patches indicate Telegraph Company, ethnic French (red color). Size is about a US 36-38 short.
