    Description

    Here for your consideration is a World War I 3rd Battalion Trophy medal.  The medal depicts a soldier laying flat with a rifle in firing position.  The year "1914" just above the soldier and just beneath reads "4th INF.Y.G.N.J.  Above is a gold medallion in white, gold and blue enamel that reads "NGNJ" with "IN UTRUMQUE PARATUS" (means "Ready for either alternative")
    surrounding a "4".  The piece is very nicely cast with a dark patina.  Made by "Dieges & Clust".
