.  The Insignia
is for an Officer
who
served overseas
in France.   You have
2 gold bullion chevrons embroidered
to OD Serge Wool.  The
French Theater Made Insignia denotes
at least a
full year overseas "over there"
.  Each chevron is for 6 month's service overseas. The
Bullion Overseas Chevrons
were
sewn to a tunic and removed
.
It is at least 106 years old in fair plus condition.
