    - Ship World Wide
    Here is a
World War I Souvenir of Britain Post Card.
    The
whimsical Post Card depicts a boyish British Tommy, defending a girlish French civilian with tricolor flag, from a Pickelhaube wearing boyish German.
    It is London
    maker
    marked as part of the
    British Series
    ,
    Interart Company
.  It is entitled, "Not Likely" with writing in French about not passing.  The Tommy is protecting lady France from the oncoming Pickelhaube wearing German.  The Art is striking, the color spectacular, and it
    is artist signed
    .
    It was
    sent by
    an
American New Hampshire Volunteer Ambulance and Vehicle Driver with British Expeditionary Force
    .  He
    would
    go on to
    drive for
    the
    Italian Expeditionary Force
also.  He sent this home as a souvenir to his sister and a niece/nephew.  The sister wrote some provenance in pencil on the back.
    The
    unused Post Card
is simply stunning.  It comes from a grouping of letters, numerous French and Italian Post Cards and photos of the driver in his motor car.  I will be listing more of his items in the ensuing couple of weeks.  It is
    flat out stunning
.  The Post Card is in fair condition and is
    103 years old
    .
